One of Edinburgh’s best Italian Restaurants is tucked under George IV Bridge in Merchant Street. This charming, classy and elegant restaurant / wine cellar has a warm, welcoming look and feel to it. For wine enthusiasts a visit to Divino wont disappoint.
The team at Divino are celebrating after collecting one of the world’s most prestigious wine accolades … the Leccio d’Oro Prize 2015, in recognition of Divino’s presentation and selection of Montalcino wines.
Divino beat off stiff competition from venues around the globe to scoop one of only 3 awards presented by the Consorzio del Vino Brunello di Montalcino. Tony Crolla accepted the award at the exclusive ‘Benvenuto Brunello’ event, which takes place each February in Montalcino.
At Divino our focus is on seasonal, fresh, genuine Italian cuisine using local produce and carefully selected in order to achieve a true evocation of Italian flavours.
